If you know us, you know we have a bit of a tradition of running our “Lighthouse Runs” on each seasonal change. Know as the Solstice Runs, they are actually Spring Equinox, Summer Solstice, Autumn Equinox and Winter Solstice. We do run the Lighthouse Runs at other times during the fair weather but these are special runs that we really try to promote to all runners willing to come join us.
Last week, we had a great turnout as the late charging Spring gave us a decent evening to run. Some members of the East York Runners Club showed up to run with us as well as a few brand new BRC members. 27 in all! We also welcomed Ben from Saucony, whom will be our rep and Saucony will be our sponsor for this year’s Tannenbaum 10k. Ben also pushed me to a fast 10k time run, when I was planning to take it easy. Thanks Ben!
